MARION, Ohio ( 03-01-2006 ) - TODCO
is hoping to "make the grade" with its new "TODCO
Tech" school, unveiled at the National Truck Equipment Association
Work Truck Show March 1 in Atlanta.
Fleet personnel operating TODCO's overhead doors have the opportunity to request an on-site "TODCO Tech" school, in which company personnel learn about the inspection, maintenance and repair of TODCO's complete line of overhead truck and trailer doors – all at no cost.
"Our TODCO Tech program is a class act," says Scott Blackford, vice president of sales and marketing. "Lowering the cost per mile of our current – and potential – overhead
door end users has always been a primary TODCO goal." |
|
"So
we built and packaged a complete overhead door inspection-to-maintenance
and repair program designed to keep TODCO doors operating longer,
and more profitably. Our sales personnel can now utilize a DVD to
teach fleet maintenance personnel how to inspect, maintain and repair
our doors in a concentrated one-day class."
The class starts with a 14-point video inspection checklist to keep things in good operating condition. A complete guide to the maintenance and repair of TODCO overhead doors is available as a DVD, video cassette, and as a printed 60-page comprehensive binder.
Upon course completion, TODCO Tech graduates receive a certificate and ball cap with the TODCO Tech logo.
Blackford is confident TODCO Tech will make the grade. "We've had many requests for this kind of program over the last several years," he added. "Packaging it into TODCO Tech makes a whole lot of sense. I guess that's the best kind of school."
Fleets can request a TODCO Tech school by going to: www.todco.com and clicking on the TODCO Tech icon on the home page. TODCO will schedule its TODCO Tech schools when personnel are available.
