PolarTek™ overhead reefer doors are made of polycomposite material that is impervious to moisture and provides a smooth, high-quality surface for paint and/or graphics. As you will see below, all of the features and benefits of PolarTek™ equal the construction and thermal efficiencies of our original PolarGuard refrigerated doors.

Polycomposite construction makes the door impervious to moisture. Smooth, high-quality finish makes painting optional.

PolarTek™ door requires standard 9 inches of headroom, but weighs significantly less than other doors in its class.

Foam creates thousands of air pockets to stop BTU loss, and adds strength and rigidity to each panel.

Eliminates cold air loss through conductivity, and gives the door a smooth surface for an automotive-quality paint finish and/or excellent decal adhesion.

Unique panel groups designed to form a better thermal barrier.

Tough double-wall panels are extruded in one piece for added strength.

Single counterbalance spring for effortless operation

Standard bottom seal for thermal and weather protection.

Thru rivets on end hinges put extra strength where needed. Single rubber seal prevents cold loss through rivet head, while optional dual-lip seal blocks cold loss from the rear.
