TODCO took a proven performer, the PolarGuard® refrigerated door, and made it even better. The new PolarTek™ door starts with smooth, tough, extruded hollowcore polycomposite panels for an automotive-quality appearance that even moisture cannot penetrate. This is the same polycomposite panel substrate proven in over three years of use in other TODCO doors, so you can be confident they will stand up to the day-in and day-out challenges every fleet faces.

PolarTek™ panels are filled with polyurethane foam, so they provide all of the K-Factor efficiency you have come to expect from TODCO insulated reefer doors. There are no thru rivets in the center of the panel to further prevent cold air loss, as well as provide a smooth surface for decals and painted graphics.

And PolarTek™ features the optional LifeGuard lock that allows the door to be opened from the inside, even when the door is padlocked and secured. The springs and counterbalance shaft are E-coated to protect against rust.
